What we have built
The clearest way to show what we can build is to show what we have built. Everything here is made and run by aXai, and every client project runs through the same governed system we use ourselves: the Decision Bus and the Project Layer.
Products we have built
Decision Bus
The heart of how we work. Every action an AI agent wants to take that needs a human call lands in one inbox, where a person approves or refuses it from their phone, and every decision is recorded. In production on every project we build.
About the Decision BusProject Layer
The console beside the Decision Bus. Operators set out the work, break it into pieces AI agents can carry, sign off each step and see what has been done. In production.
About the Project LayerDisability Services Exchange (DSX)
An NDIS provider discovery platform, built with DisabilityX. Participants search providers by location, service type and specialisation and see each provider's verification level. Designed for participants first, with Easy Read built in.
About DSXDisabilityX
A disability-led website fronted by Axel, with news and a podcast. We built it and keep it running; it shares its Easy Read assistant with this site.
Visit DisabilityXSavanax
A reasoning engine that looks at a decision through many separate frameworks and maps where they disagree. Useful where the people affected hold different values.
About SavanaxContext Scanner
Reads a codebase and writes structured documentation so AI coding assistants start with the right context, and flags compliance gaps against Australian frameworks. Used daily on our own projects.
About Context ScannerAxelV1
Autonomy-preserving decision support for people with large support teams. Everyday events are routed through policy-based automation while the person stays in charge, and anything new escalates to a human. In production.
About AxelV1PSight
A closed-loop wellness prototype that reads heart rate variability and EEG signals and suggests the exercise that fits the state of the nervous system. Working prototype.
About PSightDocument Layer
A governance document store where every change is logged, tamper-evident and replayable. Working prototype with tests.
About Document LayerAxel avatar and aXread
A self-hosted talking avatar who answers questions on this site, with text-to-speech on every reply, and aXread built in: one switch changes between Standard and Easy Read, and people can listen to an answer and speak a question. Live here as a pilot, and available for your own site.

What these products have in common
- Accessibility from the start. Easy Read, keyboard use and screen reader support are part of the design.
- Built for the people who use them. DSX began with what participants need to know about a provider.
- Made to run. These are working systems that we look after ourselves, so we live with our own decisions.
- Governed. Every step an AI agent takes on our projects goes through the Decision Bus, signed off by a person and on the record.
- Plain about what they found. Savanax shows disagreement; Context Scanner reports exactly what it checked.
What this means if you hire us
The same skills go into your project: designing software around real users, building AI into a product carefully, and making information easier to read and use.
For software or an AI tool, see AI coding (Vybrid) and AI consulting and software. For your own website, see WCAG accessibility audits. Build work has a fixed written quote before any work starts.
All of our product pages are under Innovations.
How a client project runs
Your project runs on the same system as our own work. The plan sits in the Project Layer, a person signs off each step an AI agent carries through the Decision Bus, and every decision is recorded, so you can see what was done, by whom, and when. You get a fixed written quote before work starts and a delivery you can audit afterwards.
Talk to us about work similar to yours and we will walk you through how a comparable build runs.
Why aXai
aXai is a disability-led AI, software and accessibility company. We build AI systems, software, and concepts and prototypes ready to scale, and we deliver them through AI-supported work: skilled people with disability in real, properly paid roles, working to clear quality standards, with AI removing the barriers and people keeping the accountability.
Every project runs on our own infrastructure, the Decision Bus and Project Layer, so each step is planned, signed off by a person and on the record. That is our operating advantage. Read how it works.
Questions
Can you build a platform or AI system for our organisation?
Yes. Tell us what you have in mind through AI and software systems or AI coding (Vybrid). You get a fixed written quote before any work starts, and your project runs through the Decision Bus with every step signed off and recorded.
Can we use the Decision Bus, aXread or Context Scanner ourselves?
Yes. Tell us what you would use it for and we will set up the Decision Bus, aXread or the Context Scanner for your team, with your own rules and boundaries.
Who is Axel?
Axel fronts DisabilityX and is the guide you can talk to on this website. Meet him on the Meet Axel page, and see the Axel avatar case study.
Do you have examples of your videos?
Ask for a sample made from your own material before you buy, on the AI avatar videos page.
Have something you want built?
Tell us about it in a few lines. We will reply by email with a plain answer and, for build work, a fixed written quote.
