AI for education and training

AI for education and training providers

Registered training organisations, TAFE departments, school inclusion teams, disability-specific training providers and community education programs all face the same pair of problems: learners who need materials in a form they can use, and trainers buried in assessment paperwork and enrolment administration. We build systems that take on the formatting, drafting and administration, and leave teaching, assessing and every learner decision with the educator.

What AI can take on in a training organisation

  • Learning materials in accessible formats

Course notes, handouts and slides in plain language, Easy Read, captioned video with transcripts, audio and large print, produced from your own materials and checked by the trainer before learners receive them.

  • Assessment tool drafts for the assessor to validate

Draft assessment tasks, marking guides and mapping documents assembled from your units and existing tools, in your template. The assessor validates and owns the result.

  • Learner questions answered from your content

Course content, timetables and policies searchable by learners at any hour, with the source shown and a trainer told when a question needs a person.

  • Enrolment, attendance and progress administration

Enrolment forms, attendance records, progress tracking and reminders handled automatically, with exceptions raised to the person responsible.

  • Reasonable adjustments that reach every trainer

Each learner’s agreed adjustments recorded once and shown to every trainer and assessor who works with them, with the learner’s consent and the record kept current.

  • Trainer induction and compliance content

Induction and refresher content for trainers and assessors in video and written form, updated when a policy or a training package changes.

What stays with people

  • Assessment decisions, competency judgements and every decision about a learner are made by the trainer or assessor.
  • Adjustments are agreed between the learner and the educator; the system records and shares them.
  • Your compliance team decides whether your tools and practices meet the standards you are registered under; on request we review the exact content against those standards and state the scope of that review in writing.
  • Learner information goes only where you have agreed it can go.

A draft is a draft until someone who knows the work has read it and signed it off. Every system we build waits for a person before anything is sent, submitted or decided.

What we can build for you

  • An accessible materials tool with the trainer’s review step built in.
  • An assessment drafting tool that works from your own units and templates.
  • A learner question tool grounded in your course content, with escalation to a trainer.
  • Enrolment and adjustment workflows connected to your student management system.

Captioned training videos at fixed prices are on induction and training videos. Whole content suites, from script to knowledge check, are on accessible content and video.

How to start

  • A discovery session at $220 an hour inc GST: we work through one task with you, look at what you already have, and give you a written scope. You keep the scope whether or not you build with us.
  • A defined prototype: one task, working in your setting, with a clear finish line and a fixed written quote, agreed before any work starts.
  • A custom build in staged milestones, each quoted in writing before it starts, so you can stop at any stage and still have something you can use.

Why aXai

aXai is a disability-led AI, software and accessibility company. We build AI systems, software, and concepts and prototypes ready to scale, and we deliver them through AI-supported work: skilled people with disability in real, properly paid roles, working to clear quality standards, with AI removing the barriers and people keeping the accountability.

Every project runs on our own infrastructure, the Decision Bus and Project Layer, so each step is planned, signed off by a person and on the record. That is our operating advantage. Read how it works.
