If your procurement policy counts disability-led suppliers or employment of people with disability, this page sets out what aXai is, what you can buy and the supplier evidence we provide.
What aXai is

- Disability-led and neurodivergent-led.
- A company that delivers through AI-supported work: skilled people with disability in real, properly paid roles, with AI removing the barriers.
- A company that earns its income by selling services, with that client work done in those roles.
What you can buy

- Concepts, mocks and prototypes, taken to a plan for scaling.
- AI consulting at $220 an hour inc GST.

How social procurement works in Victoria
Social procurement means using buying power to create social value on top of the goods or services being bought. Victoria’s Social Procurement Framework applies that idea to Victorian Government purchasing.
Under the framework, social enterprises that are certified by Social Traders are among the suppliers government buyers can count towards their social procurement results. Social Traders is the national certifier of social enterprises. Its criteria include having a primary social purpose and putting the majority of effort and resources into that purpose. A business with a for-profit structure can be eligible.
Councils, universities and companies often have their own social procurement policies, each with its own rules about what counts. Check what your own policy asks for.
The evidence we can give
Tell us what your policy, tender or report asks for and we will tell you plainly, in writing, what we can evidence. For example, we can give you:
- a written statement of our purpose and how the business is set up
- our business details for your supplier records
- answers to your supplier questionnaire.
If you need figures for your reporting, ask, and we will give you what our records support.
Why aXai
aXai is a disability-led AI, software and accessibility company. We build AI systems, software, and concepts and prototypes ready to scale, and we deliver them through AI-supported work: skilled people with disability in real, properly paid roles, working to clear quality standards, with AI removing the barriers and people keeping the accountability.
Every project runs on our own infrastructure, the Decision Bus and Project Layer, so each step is planned, signed off by a person and on the record. That is our operating advantage. Read how it works.

Questions
What can aXai give my procurement team as supplier evidence?
aXai is a disability-led business. Tell us which framework or policy you are buying under and we will provide the supplier evidence it asks for, in the form your team needs.
Does buying from aXai count towards our social procurement target?
That depends on your organisation’s rules. Some policies count only suppliers with a particular certification. Others look at the outcome, such as employment of people with disability. Tell us what your policy says and we will give you a straight answer.
Is aXai a registered NDIS provider?
Our NDIS registration is applied for, with the application in progress. NDIS registration is separate from social procurement.
Can we buy below our tender threshold?
Your own procurement rules decide that. Our prices are published or quoted in writing, which makes a small direct purchase simple to document.
Ask for the evidence you need
Tell us what your procurement policy or tender asks suppliers to show. We will reply plainly, in writing.
