Site and contractor induction videos
Site, contractor and visitor induction videos for builders, trades and the businesses that bring them on site. The same message for every person, every time, with captions and your branding. A training video of up to 8 minutes is $275 including GST.
Which induction do you need?
Site induction
The rules of one site: access and hours, parking, amenities, known hazards, the emergency assembly point and who is in charge.
Contractor induction
What your business expects of every subcontractor on any of your jobs: sign-in, paperwork, permits, reporting and how you want work left at the end of the day.
Contractor induction videoVisitor induction
A short video for clients, inspectors and delivery drivers: where to report, what to wear, where they may and may not go.
Updates and refreshers
A short video when something changes, such as a new traffic plan, a new stage of the build or a lesson from a near miss.
What a site induction commonly covers
Every site is different, and what your induction must cover is for you to decide. Most include:
- who is in charge and how to contact them
- site access, hours, sign-in and sign-out
- the main hazards on this site and the controls in place
- protective equipment required, and where
- emergency procedures, first aid and the assembly point
- how to report a hazard, an incident or a near miss
- rules on drugs, alcohol, smoking, phones and behaviour.
You send us what you use now. You approve the script before the video is finished.
What a video does
A video gives every worker the same information before they walk on site. They can watch it on a phone the night before, and the induction happens the same way whoever is on that morning.
The video sits alongside your duties under work health and safety law, your site walk and your supervision, and covers your site. General construction induction training (the white card) is delivered by registered training organisations.
