Learn to use AI for the things that matter to you.
Upcoming program. Our NDIS registration is applied for, with the application in progress; register your interest now.
An upcoming mentoring program for people with disability. You pick one goal. You learn to use AI tools for your own tasks, at your pace, in the way you communicate best. You stay in control of every decision.
Four stages, led by your goal
You move to the next stage only when you want to and it makes sense. You can stop at any stage.
Getting started
You choose one goal that matters to you and a first task. You choose how you like to communicate, and who supports you. You agree to what we record.
Then we decide: Together we decide if the program is right for you, or if something else would suit you better.
Your own tools
You use the tools you pick for one task that matters to you, with help when you want it.
Then we decide: Which tools fit you, and what gets in the way.
Directing the AI
You start a task with AI, check what it made, and fix it when it is wrong.
Then we decide: Keep going, change the plan, or stop.
A skill you can rely on
You repeat a useful task to an agreed standard, with a support plan, for your own goal.
Then we decide: Some people choose to take a skill towards paid work, with any employer; that is the person’s decision and separate from the program.
What a session is
- One session works on your goal, in your chosen way of communicating.
- You practise a real task, with your mentor beside you (in person or online).
- You stay in control: you choose, you check, you decide.
- We write down what you tried and what you decided, and you can see it.
- Between sessions you can practise, with support if you want it.
- At review points we decide together whether to continue, change or stop.
AI tools during the program
- During the program you can try more than one AI tool inside a supported workspace.
- That access is part of the program, for the length of the program.
- If a tool or device of your own would suit you after the program, we look at that with you separately, after the program.
Cost and funding
Pricing is published when the program opens; whether a plan can fund it is checked with you first.
Our NDIS registration is applied for, with the application in progress.
Why aXai
aXai is a disability-led AI, software and accessibility company. We build AI systems, software, and concepts and prototypes ready to scale, and we deliver them through AI-supported work: skilled people with disability in real, properly paid roles, working to clear quality standards, with AI removing the barriers and people keeping the accountability.
Every project runs on our own infrastructure, the Decision Bus and Project Layer, so each step is planned, signed off by a person and on the record. That is our operating advantage. Read how it works.
Questions
Do I need to know about AI already?
No. We start from your goal and the way you like to communicate, not from the technology.
Can the NDIS pay for it?
Pricing is published when the program opens; whether a plan can fund it is checked with you first.
Is aXai a registered NDIS provider?
Our NDIS registration is applied for, with the application in progress. We will tell you what that means for your plan before you start.
What if I want to stop or change direction?
We check in at each stage, and you decide whether to continue, change the plan or stop. Each person moves through the stages that suit them.
Who sees my work?
You and your mentor, and anyone else you agree to. You choose what is recorded and you can see it.
