Induction and training videos

Induction and training videos at a fixed price

Induction and training videos for new employees, volunteers and contractors, with an on-screen presenter, your branding and captions. A training video of up to 8 minutes is $275 including GST, so you know the cost before you start.

No filming days, no studio, and no need to start again when a procedure changes.

What an induction video is good for

An induction video says the same thing to every new person, every time. It does not depend on who is rostered on, and people can watch it again when they need to.

  • Welcome and first day: who you are, what you do, where to go and who to ask.
  • Safety basics: site rules, hazards, emergency procedures and how to report an incident.
  • Policies people must know: code of conduct, privacy, complaints, bullying and harassment.
  • How-to training: the steps of a task your team does often.
  • Refreshers: a short video when a procedure changes.

A video supports your induction, alongside supervision, hands-on training and the checks you are required to do.

Questions

How long should an induction video be?

Shorter than you think. Several short videos on one topic each are easier to watch, and easier to update, than one long one.

Can you update a video when a procedure changes?

Yes. We update just the parts that change, at the same prices.

Can we use the videos in our learning system?

You can use your videos on your website, social media, training system and anywhere else agreed in your quote.

Who is the presenter?

You choose: one of our presenters, a custom character for your brand, or an avatar of someone on your team made with their written permission.

How long does it take?

Tell us your deadline when you get in touch and we will confirm the timing in your quote.

Does a video meet our legal induction duties?

A video helps you give consistent information. What your induction must cover depends on your industry and your workplace, and that stays your responsibility. You approve the script before the video is finished.
