Lab · Decision Bus

Every AI action, checked before it happens

The Decision Bus sits between the AI agents that build aXai’s work, including the coding agents, and anything they try to do. Each action is checked against written rules, a reviewer model judges the approach, the actions on the never list stop and wait for a person, and every decision is written to a record that cannot be edited afterwards.

What it does

Intercepts every action

The agents’ actions arrive through hooks. Nothing reaches production, spends money, sends a message or touches a person’s likeness without passing through the Bus first.

Reviews the approach

A reasoning model, working to a written rubric, checks each action and each draft: the fact standard, the voice standard, accessibility, the positioning rules. It never passes work its own model wrote. If it cannot decide, it holds.

Holds the never list

The actions no AI may take on its own: releasing to production, spending, sending email or messages as a person, new use of anyone’s face or voice, deleting. These always stop and wait for a person, who answers from her phone.

Fails closed

A split vote, a model failure or a tripped breaker means hold, never approve. Silence is a no.

Keeps the record

What was asked, what exactly was shown (down to its hash), which checks ran, which models were used and who or what decided, appended to a log that cannot be edited after the fact. Executors act only on an approved record whose hash still matches.

Why it matters to a customer

It is the difference between a claim and a record. When an auditor asks who approved a change or a document, the answer is a decision record with a time, a hash and a name, not a policy.
